Did you know that Local Governments and Regional Districts in BC are eligible for Asset Management grants of up to $15,000 of matching funds through a provincial program managed by UBCM?

Eligible activities fall under three broad categories, with example projects:

  • Assessing
    • Risk assessments
    • Corporate capacity assessment
  • Planning
    • Developing asset management policy
    • Developing asset management plans
    • Developing level of service frameworks
  • Implementing
    • Asset management training
    • Outcome reporting
    • Performance measurement

Full details can be found in the 2019 grant program guide, available below. Note that it is possible to stack grant programs, including the Gas Tax Community Works Fund and FCM’s MAMP program funding.
